The material can be poured directly into the use part, and construction is carried out manually or mechanically. The ramming material is also hammered Use a half hammer to pound, but it should be noted that the thickness of each pounding should not exceed 100mm at most until the pounding is dense (reference compression ratio is 40-45%). If the thickness needs to be increased, a second layer can be laid. Each layer is pounded, but before laying, the surface of the upper layer must be roughened to make the upper and lower layers densely combined. The wind pressure during pounding is the same as that of hot pounding, and cannot be less than 0.5Mpa.

Carbon ramming mass are mainly used for the gap between the blast furnace bottom carbon bricks and the furnace bottom sealing plate, or the gap between the hearth carbon bricks and the cooling stave, as well as for leveling above the center line of the furnace bottom water-cooling pipe and cooling stave. Fill every corner and small gap to meet the requirements of no leakage of molten iron and gas.
